The Rules of BRUN Language School

The following rules apply to French, English, Japanese and Latin lessons.

1-1. Admission fee and textbook

There is no admission fee. The student and the teacher will decide together on which textbook to buy.

â‘  Private Lesson : 3000 yen / 1 hour

â‘¡ Group Lesson : 2500 yen / 1 hour for one person

â‘¢ Group Lesson with family members: 2000 yen / 1 hour for one person

(Note: Lesson fee applies to students 11 years old or older. For students under this age, please contact our staff for further details.)

Each lesson is 1 hour. The last 5 minutes are reserved for assigning homework and making the next appointment. Lesson can be extended in 30 minutes interval, for example, to 1.5 hours or 2 hours upon request. The frequency of lesson can also be changed.

Lesson fee is the same for school, in-home or Skype lesson. However, in-home lesson is only available to students who are unable to travel to our school due to various reasons. Please note that extra charges may be required for in-home lesson.

* In-home lesson

Total fee = Lesson Fee + Transportation Fee (between school and your house) + Extra fee

The extra fee is calculated based on the traveling time at a rate of 3000 yen / 1 hour.

In the case of 30 minutes round-trip traveling time:

Total fee = 3000 yen lesson fee + round-trip transportation fee + 1500 yen extra fee

* Skype lesson

Each Skype lesson is limited to 1 hour only. If the lesson starts late, it will still finish on time according to schedule.

* Change from School lesson to Skype lesson

It is now possible to change a School lesson to Skype lesson for free. If the student is unable to come to school on the appointed day and would like to have a Skype lesson instead, please feel free to contact our staff to arrange the change. Please note that in the case of a 2- hour lesson appointment, only the 1st hour can be changed to Skype lesson. The 2nd hour will still be considered as same-day cancellation.

You can make the next appointment at the end of your lesson, on the phone or via e-mail. For bookings on the phone, an e-mail will be sent for confirmation. Your booking is complete after you reply to the confirmation email.

You can pay lesson fee one at a time or for multiple lessons at the same time.
